WELCOME TO YOUR HUB FOR STAYING
CONNECTED AND MOVING FORWARD

Earlier this year, the Washington, D.C. chapter was closed. We know this was difficult for many members, and we want to assure you that your national membership and benefits remain active. This hub was created to keep you connected, provide resources, answer your questions, and invite you to help shape the future of the region’s membership community.

WHY CHOOSE AGC?

Membership keeps you connected, informed and supported – no matter what comes next. In a region where federal and local interests intersect, AGC provides clarity, advocacy, and opportunities that matter to your business in the D.C. construction market.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

We know this is a time of change, and it’s natural to have questions about what comes next. That’s why we’ve gathered answers to some of the most common concerns from members just like you. Explore the FAQs below to find clarity, guidance, and the resources you need to move forward with confidence.

AGC regularly reviews the status of its affiliated chapters to ensure alignment with our mission, governance standards, and member service expectations. After careful consideration, AGC made the difficult decision to revoke the charter of the AGC of Metropolitan DC chapter.

During this transition, AGC remains dedicated to supporting you and your entire firm. Our priority is to ensure you continue to have access to the resources, connections, and opportunities that help our members thrive.

Your AGC membership remains active through December 31, 2025. Until then, you and all your employees will continue to have access to national benefits, resources, and member pricing as an AGC member.

After December 31, 2025 your company has the option to join another existing AGC chapter. The AGC of Virginia and AGC of Maryland chapters are available and looking forward to supporting your company. For more information on all AGC chapters, please visit https://www.agc.org/connect/chapters.

AGC provides members with diverse opportunities and tools to help you grow your business, expand your professional network, stay on top of industry trends, and connect with and learn from members across the country.

These groups are short-term ways for members to stay connected, give input, and help shape how AGC re-establishes a strong presence in the DC market.

We’re looking for passionate AGC members who want to shape the future of the D.C. construction community. If you have ideas, energy, and a desire to strengthen programs, resources, and opportunities for contractors in the metropolitan area, we want you at the table. This is your chance to connect with peers, share your perspective, and help us build something even stronger together.

Each AGC chapter sets its own membership dues, so amounts may vary from one chapter to another. The best way to get details is to reach out directly to the chapter you’re considering, they’ll be glad to walk you through their membership investment and benefits. No matter where you land, your national AGC membership ensures you’ll stay connected to a powerful network, resources, and advocacy that support your business every step of the way.

While dues may vary by chapter, joining AGC of Virginia or Maryland AGC ensures continued access to both local chapter programs and AGC of America’s national benefits.
